Weekly Soccer Schools for 5-12 years old boys and girls in a safe and FUN environment

Sessions include fun games, skills and drills and begins and ends with small sided matches.

Mini Soccer is a scaled down version of association football, smaller pitches and fewer players.

Why small sided? A very simple answer – small sided games mean more football and more involvement in the game. It maximises involvement in real football situations. More goals, shots, saves, passes, dribbles, tricks and tackles.

It makes it easier for coaches to observe where players are in their development. All players attack and defend in a game rather than being stuck in one position. More freedom to explore the game and ultimately MORE FUN!

High-quality coaching

Our Mini Soccer football courses are amongst the most popular that we offer in the broad Little Sports Coaching sports catalogue. We employ highly skilled and passionate coaches with a real love for teaching children of all ages. Our coaches are experienced, fully vetted and have all the relevant qualifications needed to deliver junior football training sessions for girls and boys of all ages. We run a high coach-to-student ratio so that there is plenty of supervision and support, and every course is run according to strict safety and safeguarding procedures so that you can always be confident about what your child is doing and that they are being well looked after.

The structure of our courses

Our youngest players go to Tots FC football coaching sessions to develop their physical co-ordination skills and learn how to play with a ball, picking up valuable basics such as passing, dribbling and ball manipulation. The emphasis is on fun, mobility, social interaction, concentration and team work, with plenty of games and some downtime to rest during a busy session.

For the older children, everyone is put into age- or ability-appropriate groups so that they can learn with other children who are at a similar level. There is plenty of time to foster new friendships, and the children in our courses learn as much about life skills - such as good communication, teamwork, helping, sharing and respect - as they do about the sport of football itself! Skill sessions are varied. Children are often amazed by how much they learn and how quickly they learn it, as their confidence and abilities grow amongst friends and with good coaching.
